Holidays are more fun when you have children. Seeing a holiday through your child's eyes brings renewed excitement and anticipation for the upcoming event.
However, this holiday... I think the parents played a little more than the kids! We started by taking a little fashion advise from our eldest...
...and got dressed up for a night out on the town!
We had a candlelit dinner at Jack in the Box. Yes, they did actually let us light the candles! Our friend, Dani, supplied the fancy table cloth and the great idea.
We enjoyed the evening out with fun friends riding around town in a fancy limo-van.
We introduced ourselves to the fascinating world of Roller Derby. It was packed! We actually had to sit on the floor due to the sold-out crowd.
We had a great non-traditional Valentine's Day celebration date. How ever will we top this next year?
