Just a little update on our Easter happenings...

Easter morning, we had a "Treasure Hunt" and had to follow clues to search for our Easter baskets.

See video below of Bridger finding the final 'treasure'!

Bridger and Kacy participated in the local Easter egg hunts. Bridger loved the whole thing: the candy, the rain boots, the mud, the eggs, etc. Kacy was enjoying herself until she saw this six foot white bunny and was terrified. (If you can enlarge this photo, look at her face - priceless).

The kids also got to eat...

...I mean dye their hands... um, I mean... eggs.

So, pretty traditional Easter stuff. We also had a fabulous Easter dinner with great friends. All around a great time. We were glad for the reason for this season. HE LIVES!
On a final - less reverent - note, does anyone really know the history of the Easter bunny? Where did this 6 ft monster come from? Apparently the bunny/egg thing is an ancient fertility symbol. So, to our friends out there celebrating that part of Easter - Hoppy Easter to you, too!
