For the far away family (and friends) out there

Here are some videos from our latest celebrations. I hope this works...

Christmas Morning at Grandma's house

Happy Happy Birthday Kacy, dear!

Our little Kacy is 2 years old! She is a fun, happy, silly, beautiful toddler. She is a talker, and repeats everything she hears. At church the other day, she climbed up on some one's lap and proceeded to say "look" and "see" and "so pretty" as she proceeded to show this woman all the parts to her outfit.
We celebrated her birthday last month with breakfast-on-blanket due to some logistical difficulties in fitting the whole family in her crib. She loved the special attention, which she remembered her brother getting a few weeks before.
She got some cute cards from great-grandparents, a fluffy pink skirt (pictured above and below) from Grandma, some toys from mom & dad, and a hand crafted crib-for-the-dollhouse from Bridger. Bridger wrapped this present and painted the little wooden crib himself. For Christmas Kacy got a dollhouse from Grandma and Grandpa, so B was excited to add to it for Kacy. Once it was in the house, it probably wasn't really proportionate to the rest of the tiny dollhouse furniture, but no one seemed to mind. :) We also celebrated Kacy's birthday by going to black light mini golfing. If you have ever been mini golfing with small kids, you know it is quite a hilarious adventure. Fortunately we were the only ones there in the middle of the day, so we could take as long as we wanted, and also make up our own rules on which hole really comes next.
Waiting for the ball to come out...
Like I said, Kacy is a very happy child. She will make it pretty clear when she is unhappy about something, and could get an Oscar for "best performance" when she wants you to know she is upset. Thankfully she is most often pretty content to roll with the punches - although she likes to think she is the one in charge. She loves dancing, and loves singing, loves playing with other kids and loves doing her own thing.
Happy Birthday Kacy Ann! We love you very much.
