Happy 6th Birthday Bridger!

I have a six year old!! When asked what he wanted to do for his birthday, B said he wanted to go to build-a-bear, go bowling, go to chuck-e-cheese, eat a strawberry cake and have a party with Grandma and Grandpa!

As his mother, I felt inclined to say "How about we pick one or two of these things?" Luckily, Grandpa intervened and said "SURE!"  When you celebrate at Grandpa's house, you get to do it all!

Bridger even got to keep the celebrations going when he got to be recognized and celebrate with is kindergarten class. They sang to him and he brought in Oreos to share.

Christmas Day!

Christmas at Grandma & Grandpa's was so fun! We woke up early to Jingle Bells Fantasy and found that Santa DID remember to find us in AZ instead of OR.
Grandma K got an iPad from all of us! Surprise!
Christmas kids...
After the present opening marathon, we got a little relaxing time in.

That evening we went to the Mesa temple to walk around and view the lights.

Christmas in AZ - Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve brought a delicious roast spread for dinner, acting out the Nativity and a whole lot of preciousness!

 "Mary" and "baby Jesus"
Bridger got a crochet and knitting lesson from Great Grandma Ila
 Yummy food
 Shepherds
 More food

 More visitors to the stable.

Aron did "kidnap" the baby a few times, but only out of love.
Merry Christmas! Now off to bed before Santa comes!

Christmas in AZ -the Travel

Our Christmas adventure began in the PDX airport on the way to PHX. "Santa Bridger" had a bag of candy canes and was handing treats out to other children traveling with their families. He made a lot of friends spreading Christmas cheer.
We saw Sam in the PDX airport for about 5 minutes, where we had to get on separate planes to eventually arrive in Arizona.

I believe Bridger was the photographer on the plane.

Finally, we found Grandma and had a happy reunion to kick off the week.

Gingerbread Houses

Kiddos made some beautiful Graham cracker houses to get in the Christmas spirit.

They had fun and it happened to get rid of a lot of our Halloween candy. :)
