Kacy: "When I was a baby, I turned into a mouse, then I turned back into a baby."

Bridger: "I had a scary dream with ghost monsters, dog monsters and tickle monsters."

Kacy: "Olympics, again!?!"

Bridger: "Mom, America isn't playing, so can we watch a different show instead?"

And this is what we really normally look like...

We are Spartans!

Jim and I participated (and survived) the Spartan Race, a 3 1/2 mile race with about 20 different obstacles such as jumping over fire, climbing ropes, carrying sandbags, climbing in the mud uphill under barbed wire, throwing a javalin, climbing over walls... well you get the idea. AND there was a 30 burpee penalty for any task you couldn't complete.

 Jim and I stuck together the whole race and had a great time becoming truly exhausted.



My friend Catherine, pictured above, finished the race in less than half the time it took us to complete it! She is a mom of 4 boys and a major rock star!
