Spokane and Reception

We had fun being in Spokane with the whole Mineer clan.
Our condo we stayed in had a tree house out front.
We did some hiking.
Swing

More hiking

Jim and Steve climbed straight up this rock.
Bridge!

We went on the Merry Go Round
We swam at the Turner family pool
We visited the big red wagon

We explored downtown Spokane
My mom did the flowers for the reception

Sam helped with the flowers, too.
The reception was lovely. Sam and Glenna met in the BYU bowling and brought displayed many pictures from their courtship over the last year.
The girls loved the flowers
Aron loved the cake
We decorated the love birds car- filled with balloons and covered with streamers and happy messages.

It was so fun to spend time together and get to know Glenna's family too.

GLAM

Sam and Glenna got married!
We went up to the Spokane, WA temple for their big day.
Cousins!

I am so happy to see my little brother so happy!
They are a good looking couple!
Aron was pretty tired of pictures, but we made him participate anyway.
The rest of the kids were good sports.

It started to sprinkle while taking pictures so Jim grabbed the umbrella to save the bride!

My mom made these fluffy yellow skirts for the girls. They were a big hit!

Kindergarten wrap up

Bridger loved kindergarten this year. Mrs  Goodman was the best teacher and his classmates were so friendly, too! We are so grateful for a caring, loving teacher.
Bridger began the year barley sounding out letters and ended reading sentences. He likes math and is doing addition and subtraction problems. He loved his specials: PE, music and Technology.
Bridger was named "most cheerful" by Mrs. G. He always looked forward to going to school and became known for his big smile and enthusiasm.
Congratulations Bridger! We hope you love 1st grade as much as you loved you kindergarten year!

Silver Falls

Karen and I did some scouting out for Girls Camp, then Jim met me at the park for some family fun.
We discovered this swimming area and didn't go much past this, since the kids were enjoying it so much.

Karen and I are leading the 4th year hike for girls camp. We are excited to bring 50 girls to this state park and explore he waterfalls and surrounding trails.
Get your backpacks! It will be fun!
