Bridger Baby pictures

We went to Sears on Friday to have some family pictures taken. I wasn't too impressed with the photographer, but some of the pictures are cute. Bridger did great with the camera, especially since he had shots earlier in the day.

I'm not sure how I feel about the naked baby shots, though.

Portrait Time

So we had some portrait photos taken this weekend at Sears. I wasn't too impressed with the photographer, but we did get some good smiles out of Bridger! He had his 9 month shots in the morning, but was in a great mood all day. The pediatrician said that he's the size of an 18 month old from the waste up, but his legs are about as long as they should be for a 9 month old. That explains why all his pants that fit his waist cover go past his feet!

I'm not sure how I feel about the naked baby shots, though.

The Snake

Bridger is really good at doing funny things with is mouth. He can blow raspberries, make a popping sound with his lips, and he really like to stick his tongue in and out when he is concentrating (see video)

Two plus one

It has been a while since our last post (I should say 'my last post' since Melanie hasn't really bought into the whole blogging thing). We've been using PicasaWeb to store our photos, but I guess it isn't the same as blogging.

We have a very wonderful and exciting new addition to our family - Bridger James Schaffer. Born on December 30, 2006, weight 9 lbs 8 oz and 21.5 inches long. He's a wonderful little boy, with a great personality already. He loves to hike with his mom and dad, go on vacation and visit family, and play with mom during the day!

Catching up

We've been busy! Mel and I moved her out to Oregon around Labor Day weekend. I got to stay at Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon with Mel's dad.

The suspension bridge is the foot bridge over the Colorado River. The other photo is a shot of the trip down.
