Precoa Picnic

The kids and I attended our annual company picnic.

We enjoyed friends, snow cones, water ballon games, egg tosses, lunch and a piñata. 

Jim was in China, so we went to play without him.

They made a "Precoa Piñata" and it was a hit!

When it was time for the dunk tank, Bridger lines up to volunteer for the dunk tank. He was not nervous at all!

Oaks Park

We hit up one of the last days of Preschool time at Oaks Park.

Kacy and Aron had a great time and we even met up with some friends!

Preschool

September also brought the start of Preschool for Kacy. This is her last year before starting Kindergarten!

She is going to a preschool 2 days per week and is loving it! She is starting to write words, loves coloring, playing, dancing and snuggles.

She learned a new trick: crossing her eyes.

I love this happy, fun girl!

Many times she introduces herself as "Princess Kacy" and she lives up to her name!

First Grade

September brought the beginning of a new school year. Bridger started 1st grade.

He has been so excited for school to start. The first week or two were a little rough - just getting used to the longer school days, but he loves it!

Bridger is really good at math and becoming a great reader. I have already noticed a difference in his confidence and accuracy as he reads.  I am excited for him to get into chapter books!

Back to school party!

As the countdown for school began, Bridger came up with an idea to have a "Back to School Party".

As kids arrived, they were greeted by 'Teacher Sillypants' and her family.

We had 19 kids at our party. We played, decorated school buses and broke open a piñata.

It was fun to celebrate and get excited about school starting, (but to be honest I think I was the saddest one to see summer end.)

We did a little get-to-know-you activity where the kids shared what their favorite part of summer was and many of the kids said their favorite part of summer was this back to school party! Wa-hoo!
