Maui on my mind

We finally have seen some good weather here in Oregon, but of course had the clouds and rain return today, so that got me thinking/daydreaming about Maui...

Jim and I were able to go to Hawaii in April. Uncle Sam and Grandma came to watch the kiddos while we are gone. Before we left, we celebrated our Birthday-Anniversary-Birthday with an Ice Cream cake.

 We went because of a PRECOA trip, but took the opportunity to take a few days to ourselves before the "work" portion of the trip started.

 We went Paragliding...

 We drove the Hana Highway... "Stop Worrying"

 Black sand beach

 Hiked through a bamboo forest...

 Stood under waterfalls...

 Caught the sunset on the top of a volcano...

 Rode bikes down the volcano...

 And that is just the first part of the trip.
